Pigeonsford Farm is nestled in the Hawen valley just above the popular seaside village of Llangrannog on the West Wales coast.
It's perfect for families, couples, walkers, dog lovers, cyclists or those just wishing for some tranquility.
Our cottages are located within 5.5 acres of private land. Step out of the door and a woodland walk leads you into Llangrannog village and the 'Blue Flag' beach (about a mile or approximately a 20 minute walk).
A short half mile walk in another direction takes you onto the Ceredigion coast path with spectacular views of Cardigan Bay.
We do our utmost to provide you with everything you need for your perfect getaway.
We know the little extras we provide to both our human and our furry guests are appreciated since many of our guests return time after time.
If it's your birthday or anniversary, or if you need information or directions, just let us know and we'll do our best to help.
Llangrannog boasts a wonderful beach, 2 beach cafės, a pizza restaurant, 2 dog friendly pubs, a well-stocked village shop and a church.
Other stunning local beaches can be found at Cwmtydu, Penbryn, Tresaith, Aberporth, Mwnt and Poppit.
A short drive away are the bustling harbour towns of New Quay, Aberaeron and Cardigan.
The area has so much to offer that you'll never be short of things to do.
For active types there is walking, swimming, road biking, mountain biking, kayaking, surfing, sailing, coasteering, horse riding, golf or fishing.
For wildlife enthusiasts, bottlenose dolphins, harbour porpoises and Atlantic grey seals are a common sight whilst the diversity of bird life will entrance the ardent twitcher.
For the younger visitor, if the sea is too cold for a dip, there are theme parks, farms, museums and wildlife centres a short drive away.
On your return to your cottage, and depending on the time of year, you can enjoy the warmth of the wood-burning stove or break out the BBQ and relax in the garden.
We've renovated our cottages with passion.
They are old stone buildings so we've removed modern building materials such as cement and replaced it with lime.
We've uncovered old timbers and made them the focus of a room and we've replaced plastic with slate.
Where modern technologies complement the buildings, we've adopted them, so we've installed underfloor heating as well as modern bathrooms and kitchens.
However, we haven't forgotten matters of the heart, so wood burning stoves provide a focal point in each cottage. We've tried very hard to combine rustic charm with modern convenience.
We hope you like the result.
