A varied walk that sets off down the woodland path towards Llangrannog. The route takes you down to Lon Câti which takes you just above Llangrannog before you turn left up the path to Eisteddfa Farm. You can take a short cut (see map) up the steep path which leaves Lon Câti and climbs through the woods but this can be overgrown at times. From Eisteddfa, you cross fields onto the lane to Penmorfa where you descend until you reach a path on your right just below Penmorfa Chapel. This path takes you down a lovely wooded valley, past Troedyrhiw to reach the coast path just above the National Trust properties at Llanborth, above Traeth Penbryn. If you fancy some refreshment, you can turn left here and visit the popular Plwmp Tart Café, a couple of hundred metres away. Alternatively you can turn right and head towards Llangrannog. The coast path takes you up and down and will delight you with some marvellous views on a clear day. It also passes above Traeth Morfa, a beautiful secluded beach; perfect for a quick dip in the right weather! On reaching Llangrannog, there is a choice of eateries to sustain you for the route back to Pigeonsford which takes you up past St Crannog Church before turning right up the lane to the Old Vicarage. Here you turn right up a steep narrow track which returns you to the woodland path and Pigeonsford.

If you want to extend this walk by around 3 miles, you can do a loop from the Plwmp Tart Café (indicated on the map) to Tresaith and back (see the route entitled Penbryn - Tresaith Loop) before linking back in with this walk. The Plwmp Tart is a couple of hundred metres off your route at the point where you meet the Coast Path near Penbryn.
