This lovely walk starts in the National Trust car park at Penbryn. Take note of the Plwmp Tart Café which will be hard to resist after you've completed your walk! The route heads into the woods at the back of the car park and down the coast path to Tresaith. Here you can drop down for some sustenance at The Ship Inn, which overlooks the beach and seven good beers and great food. From Tresaith you now return inland past Ty Glandwr. Once past this lovely old house, you cross Afon Saith and climb up to the lane which takes you up to Dyffrin Bern Caravan Park. Walk for a few metres through the park and onto a short path (signed Dog Walk) which takes you onto the fields adjacent to a small lake. Pass the lake (on your left) and follow the paths down to the the lane above Penbryn. Here the route takes you right and then back to the start. If you turn left here, you can follow the lane to Penbryn Church, which is well worth a visit. Note on your map that you you can take a short cut back down to the car park and the Plwmp Tart Café and a well earned bite to eat.

If you fancy a longer hike you can walk all the way from Pigeonsford to Tresaith and back, first using the walk entitled 'Penbryn Loop' which takes you to a point just above the Plwmp Tart car park from where you follow this route. Once this route is completed and you are back at the Plwmp Tart, follow the second half of the 'Penbryn Loop' walk to return to base. On the way, refreshment can be found at the Plwmp Tart (twice!), The Ship Inn, Tresaith and your choice of eateries in Llangrannog. A great day out!
